How to Register for an Etsgame Event: No Guesswork

Once I showed up with the wrong player ID and got turned away at the door.

Don’t be that person.

Step 1: Find the real registration page (not) the sketchy one

Go straight to etsgame.com. Not a Google search result. Not a Discord message from “@GamerDude42”.

Type it yourself. Or click the link pinned in the official Etsgame Discord announcements channel.

If it’s not on their site or their verified Discord, it’s fake. Period. (Yes, someone tried to scam me with a “limited-time early-bird link” last month.)

Step 2: Log in. And pick your event

You need an Etsgame account. If you don’t have one, make it before registration opens. Don’t wait until 5 minutes before the drop.

Once you’re in, go to Events > Upcoming. Click the event. Don’t scroll past it.

Don’t click “View All” and get lost in the archive.

This is where people stall. You’re not signing up for “Etsgame Summer Cup.” You’re signing up for “Etsgame Summer Cup: NA Qualifier Round 3.” Get the name exact.

Step 3: Fill out the form (no) shortcuts

You’ll need:

1. Your full legal name (not your tag)
2. Your team name (must match your Discord server name exactly)

Your in-game player ID (yes, the one with the numbers (not) your username)

1. A working email (not the one you used in 2017)

Skip any field and the submit button stays gray. I tested it. It does.

Step 4: Pay (and) pay only once

You’ll land on Stripe or PayPal. Not both. Never enter card details on a page that says “Powered by [random domain].”

Use PayPal if you can. It’s faster. And if something goes wrong, you’ve got buyer protection.

If you use a card, double-check the billing address. Mismatch = instant decline. Not “try again later.” Decline.

Step 5: Confirm (then) screenshot

The confirmation page shows a 10-digit number. That’s your ticket. Save it.

Screenshot it. Email it to yourself.

You’ll also get an email titled “Etsgamevent Registration confirmed.” If it says “receipt” or “order #” instead. Refresh. You didn’t finish.

That confirmation number is your lifeline. Without it? You’re explaining yourself to a volunteer at 2 a.m.
