How to Jump Into the Current Event

First (make) sure you have a free World of Trucks account. Link it to your game profile before you even open the truck. I’ve watched people rage-quit because they got halfway through an event and realized their accounts weren’t synced.

Step 1: Check the Official SCS Blog

That’s where they post event start dates, rules, and deadlines. No RSS feed. No Discord ping.

Just go there. Bookmark it. Seriously.

Step 2: Find External Contracts

Not the Freight Market. Not Quick Jobs. External Contracts (that’s) the tab you want. It’s buried under “Jobs” in the main menu.

Click it twice if you have to.

Look for the little banner or icon next to the job. It says “Event” or shows a seasonal emblem. Like snowflakes in winter or fireworks in summer.

If it doesn’t have that, it’s not part of the current Etsgamevent.

Update your game. Always. Events break if you’re on version 1.47.5 and the event needs 1.48.0.

Steam auto-updates don’t always fire fast enough. Check manually.

Log into World of Trucks after you haul your first event load. Your progress shows up there. Distance, deliveries, bonuses.

All live. It updates slower than the game, but it’s the only place you’ll see your rank against others.

Pro tip: Filter jobs by “Event Only” if the option appears.
